Albourne - The church of St Michael

Aldbourne has been the site of a church since before the Doomsday book. The current structure is predominantly gothic with the nave and chancel dating from the 13'th century. It is likely that some features were incorporated from an earlier structure.

The church was substantially enlarged in the 15'th century and restored in the 19'th century (by William Butterfield)
